Frequently asked questions about eye care

Why is eye care so important?

The skin around the eyes is significantly thinner and more sensitive than the rest of the face. Therefore, special eye creams and serums are optimally tailored to this sensitive area – they moisturize, reduce fine lines, and help with puffiness and dark circles.

When should you start using eye care?

Eye care isn't just for mature skin – it's always worthwhile when the eye area appears dry, irritated, or tired. Targeted care can also help with the first signs of fine lines, dark circles, or puffiness. The sooner you support the delicate skin around the eyes, the better you can maintain its balance.

What helps against dark circles and puffiness?

Products containing caffeine, niacinamide, peptides, or soothing botanical extracts (such as Centella asiatica) have decongestant, brightening, and calming effects. Applying them in a cool setting can further enhance the effect.

Can I use my regular face cream on the eye area?

Face creams are often too rich or contain active ingredients that can irritate the eye area (for example, high doses of fruit acids or retinoids). For sensitive eye skin, we recommend specially formulated eye creams or eye serums that are gentle yet effective.

How do I use eye care correctly?

Gently apply a small amount (about the size of a pea) to cleansed skin under the eyes with your ring finger – pat in gently, do not rub. Avoid direct contact with the eye. Eye cream should be used in the morning and/or evening as the last step before applying face cream.
